Top 5 Trader Joe’s Products

Trader Joe’s how I love thee let me count the ways. I would be lying if I said I didn’t frequent this establish more than once a week. There is just something so fun about Trader Joe’s; it’s not just a store, it’s an experience! I get asked a lot about what is on my weekly grocery list, and if I am being honest it changes! Instead of sharing an entire grocery list (since my list changes each week and well Trader Joe’s is constantly coming out with new items) I figured I would share some of my favorite things!

Before we dive in, just in case you don’t live near a Trader Joe’s or have any idea what I am talking about let me explain the magic of this store. Trader Joe’s is a lifestyle (the store has its own podcast)! Trader Joe’s has amazing prices because they have mostly private label items, allowing prices to stay low. The store is constantly getting new items in from seasonal goodies, skin care products and some of the best gluten free and vegan items.

Now that you know a bit more about my favorite grocery store, I present to you some of my favorite things from Trader Joe’s:

I love bagels! When I transition into the gluten, dairy and soy free lifestyle I ate a lot of different bagels. Not all gluten free items are created equally, but let me tell you Trader Joe’s hit this out of the park! In my personal opinion, I feel that Trader Joe’s has the best price on gluten free bread, and it tastes pretty darn good too! They have a few different bagel options, but my favorite hands down is the Gluten Free Everything Bagel.

  • Trader Joe’s Boxed Wine

It’s no secret Nate and I love wine. Trader Joe’s already has the best price in town for wine, but to get the best bang for your buck (besides the $2 Chuck) is the Boxed Wine. It’s $12 and contains 3 liters of wine (about 4 bottles). Our personal favorite is the Cab – we love this wine during the holidays because it just so smooth!

  • Trader Joe’s Spa Face Wash with Tea Tree Oil

If you haven’t shopped in the personal care aisle at Trader Joe’s, let me tell ya, you are missing out! There are a ton of great skin care products at Trader Joe’s that are actually the same products as you would find from expensive retailers. Since Trader Joe’s has buys wholesale they actually get amazing products (that are the same as the one you are paying the big bucks for) a fraction of the price! Nevertheless, I could write a whole article on my favorite skin care products from Trader Joe’s, but my absolute favorite is the Trader Joe’s Spa Face Wash with Tea Tree Oil. My skin feels so refreshed and new that I feel like I just got a facial. Nate loves it too!

  • Trader Joe’s Pecan Praline Granola

It was a struggle in the beginning of my food journey to find a tasty granola is gluten, dairy and soy free. Well Trader Joe’s took care of that struggle for me! I love this granola – I add it to my cereal, I mix it with my dairy free yogurt, I even eat it by itself for a snack. I just can’t get enough of it!

I love chocolate, specifically dark chocolate. The Dark Chocolate Sunflower seed butter cups hit the shelves last year and I am so happy they are here to stay! They are gluten, dairy, soy, and tree-nut free treat is only 99¢!

As I was writing this blog I realized I was having a hard time deciding what my top 5 favorite Trader Joe’s products are and with so many different categories I am thinking we are going to have to make this a recurring blog! Do you shop at Trader Joe’s? What’s your favorite product or are one of your favorite products one of mine too?

This blog was written before the pandemic hit, please be respectful to your Trader Joe’s Crew (employees) and be kind to your neighbors by taking only what you need.
